Formulation types, specifications, and recommended uses for every Agrospear product.

sc

Suspension Concentrates (SC) — stable aqueous suspensions of solid active ingredients. Low dust, high safety, excellent tank-mix compatibility. Ideal for foliar application.

ec

Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC) — solvent-based formulations that form stable emulsions on dilution. Fast uptake, broad-spectrum efficacy. Ideal for insecticides and systemic action.

wp_wdg

Wettable Powders (WP) and Water-Dispersible Granules (WDG) — solid formulations for low-cost, high-active-content delivery. WP for speed of production; WDG for dust-free handling.

sl_fs

Soluble Liquids (SL) and Flowable Seed Treatments (FS) — fully soluble or flowable formulations. SL for water-soluble actives; FS for seed treatment with film-forming and colourant.

How to Choose the Right Formulation

SC vs EC

Choose SC for solid actives requiring low dust and high suspensibility (herbicides, fungicides). Choose EC for liquid or soluble actives needing fast crop uptake (insecticides). SC is water-based and safer to handle; EC has superior foliar penetration.

WP vs WDG

Choose WP for established registrations and lowest production cost. Choose WDG for premium positioning with dust-free granule handling, accurate dosing, and better operator safety. WDG commands a price premium in most markets.

SL vs FS

Choose SL for water-soluble herbicide actives (glyphosate, paraquat) applied at high spray volumes. Choose FS for seed treatment applications requiring film-forming polymers, colourants, and low-dust application to seed.
